Olanrewaju is a multidisciplinary visual artist and storyteller transforming African history, culture, and identity into timeless works of art. Growing up, Tasere was fascinated by the tribal marks worn by many African elders. More than patterns, they represented identity, heritage, and social status—telling the story of who a person was and where they came from. That lifelong fascination became the foundation of owótásẹ̀rẹ̀'s visual identity.

Today, every owótásẹ̀rẹ̀ figure carries three distinctive tribal marks—the signature found across every painting and collectible. While not tied to a single tribe, they honor Africa's rich cultural heritage and serve as a symbol of identity.
